Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min zawali ni’matika, wa tahawwuli ‘afiyatika, wa fuja’ati niqmatika, wa jami’i sakhatika
“O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the decline of Your blessings, the passing of safety, the sudden onset of Your punishment and from all that displeases you.”
(Allāhumma yā) Fāṭira-s-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi Anta waliy-yi fi-d-dunyā wal-ākhirah, tawaffanī Muslimaw-wa alḥiqnī bi-ṣ-ṣāliḥīn.
“(O Allah), Originator of the heavens and the earth, You are my Protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Make me die a Muslim and join me with the righteous. (12:101)“
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min zawāli niʿmatik, wa taḥawwuli ʿāfiyatik, wa fujā’ati niqmatik, wa jamīʿi sakhaṭik.
“O Allah, I seek Your protection from the loss of Your favours, the removal of Your complete protection, Your sudden punishment and all that which may incur Your displeasure.”
ʿAbdullah b. ʿUmar (radiy Allāhū ‘anhumā) reported that from the supplication of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was [the above]. (Muslim 2739, Abū Dāwūd 1545)
Al-ḥamdu li-llāh-ladhī bi-niʿmatihī tattimmu-ṣ-ṣāliḥāt.
“All praise is for Allah through whose blessing righteous actions are accomplished.”
When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw anything which pleased him, he used to say [the above]. (Ibn Mājah 3803, Ibn al-Sunnī 378)
